Our OS & D Clerk will be responsible for inspecting shipments to validate claims and work with claimants to assess responsibility, determine the root cause of damage/shortage and determine resolutions.Responsibilities:Locate overages, shortage and damaged freight and research and resolve issuesProvide exceptional customer service to internal and external customersProperly handle different types of freight including Hazmat materialsPrepare paperwork to process OS&D freight including repackaging OS&D freight as neededMaintain accurate records for reporting OS&D freight on a daily and weekly basisAssist with answering telephones and provide superior customer serviceMay also perform customer service duties such as providing quotes, taking orders and answering general customer questionsQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.1 year of office and/or operations experience, preferably in the transportation industryProficient with Microsoft OfficeExperience with AS400 and SAP preferredExperience handling Hazmat materials preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented with the ability to multi taskWorking Days:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, FridayWorking Shift:AMWork Days and Shift are estimates and are subject to change, at any given time, based on job scheduling and/or business levels.
