Job description

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects

You've never been satisfied with "good enough." You want to make an impact, not just manage projects, but change how the world gets built. At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you'll do exactly that. You'll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving - and do it smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold - project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI. Together, we're transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed, creating a better way to build for the future.

Because "good enough" builds the past. You're here to build what's next, on a team that outperforms every norm.

The work:

  • You'll oversee pile-supported deck replacement, marine fender system installation, and material testing coordination.
  • You'll lead QA/QC oversight, field inspection, and materials verification for concrete and structural steel components.
  • You'll administer Caltrans-standard construction, QA program, and source inspection for structural concrete and aggregates.
  • You'll assist in managed grading, drainage, paving, and field testing in compliance with Caltrans METS and QAP protocols.
  • You'll oversee Wharf reconstruction, pile driving, concrete deck placement, marine fender systems
  • You'll implement Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) and verify contractor Quality Control (QC).
  • You'll oversee source material inspections, batch plant operations, and field sampling.
  • You'll coordinate independent testing labs for concrete, asphalt, aggregates, soils, and structural steel.
  • You'll verify certifications, mix designs, and ensure compliance with ASTM and Caltrans testing standards.
  • You'll review of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and as-built documentation
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
  • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelors in civil engineering
  • Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of construction management and field engineering experience on marine, transportation, bridge construction, and heavy civil projects

Bonus points if you have:

  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, QSD/QSP
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • Familiarity with Port and Wharf Construction including pile-supported structures, bulkheads, fender systems, and utilities
  • Familiarity with Caltrans Transportation Projects including roadway improvements, understanding of bridge and grade separation structures, retaining walls
  • Familiarity with Heavy Civil Construction including grading, paving, storm drainage, and utility relocations
  • Familiarity with Caltrans Standard Specifications, Standard Plans, Construction Manual, and Materials Engineering and Testing Services (METS) requirements
  • Oversight of projects with State and Federal funding, ensuring compliance with LAPM and FHWA requirements
  • Experience working with Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, Caltrans, City Public Works, and utility agencies
  • Knowledge of CEQA, NEPA, USACE, and Coastal Commission regulatory processes
  • Masters degree desirable
