Job description

National Account Director - IDN (Health Systems)

Join us at AstraZeneca as a National Account Director - IDN (Health Systems) and be part of a dedicated team of leaders accountable for advancing access coverage in targeted health systems. This role is a unique opportunity to establish and cultivate productive business relationships with priority Health Systems, fostering growth through collaboration partnerships, and ensuring our strategic priorities are realized. You will be responsible for covering the full product portfolio across the assigned BioPharma Business Unit.

Accountabilities:

As a National Account Director, you will own the relationships with the most important Health Systems customers and maximize these relationships to generate increased demand and access for products by targeting appropriate influencers and decision-makers within the Health Systems customer environment. Your key responsibilities will include driving portfolio growth through strategies to maintain or improve brand access, building sustainable collaborations against shared priorities/common interests, providing insights to shape strategies, establishing and maintaining strong internal collaborations, and developing comprehensive business plans for assigned accounts to ensure targeted advancement.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

5+ years demonstrated expertise in the pharmaceutical space

Strong business acumen negotiation and presentation skills

Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate and collaborate across various internal stakeholders

Strategic thinking Prioritization

Exemplary interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written

Ability and willingness to meet critical deadlines

Ability to travel minimum 60+% of the time

Desirable Skills/Experience:

Proven experience leading high level strategic business initiatives at a global or regional level

Demonstrated ability to develop credible relationships at high levels within accounts

Ability to learn and apply scientific and clinical data with key accounts

Flexibility and agility, while always maintaining a strong positive attitude

Highly results focused

Leadership experience

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $ 192,126.40 - 288,189.60 USD Annual. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentivesan opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
