Director Of Production Sales
A well-established, premium manufacturer is seeking a Director of Production Sales to lead a key revenue segment and oversee relationships with major clients. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who is equally at home closing at the executive table and developing the people behind the numbers. You will inherit a portfolio of established accounts and a team ready to be led with clarity and accountability.
If you know the production home builder landscape, understand how to win and protect multi-million dollar contracts, and can lead a team while managing upward with confidence, this role was built for you. This role is primarily on-site, with regular travel within the region.
Business Development & Market Leadership
Serve as the primary relationship owner for key production builder and developer accounts across the Greater Bay Area
Identify and secure new builder partnerships and emerging market players
Represent the organisation at industry events and builder forums
Monitor regional housing trends and competitive activity to inform strategy
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Own annual revenue targets, forward-looking pipeline strategy, and account-level growth plans
Lead bidding and pricing strategy for early-stage and conceptual projects
Develop option and upgrade packages to maximise average job value
Partner closely with internal teams to align customer commitments with operational capabilities
Pricing & Margin Strategy
Build and maintain structured pricing models aligned with gross margin goals
Analyse win/loss data and market intelligence to sharpen bid quality
Collaborate with Finance and Executive Leadership on commercial and pricing strategy
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of approximately 10 direct and indirect reports
Build a culture of performance, professional growth, and ownership
Cross-functionally align with Production, Engineering, and Finance to ensure accurate bids and seamless delivery
Forecasting & Performance Management
Own the Production Sales forecast and revenue outlook
Track and report on KPIs including shipped revenue, gross margin, win rate, and average job value
