As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and field leaders while gaining hands-on experience managing commercial electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You'll partner closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and customers to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and running efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting project teams from preconstruction through project closeout Coordinating project documentation, communications, and approvals Assisting with project schedules, reporting, and tracking milestones Participating in project meetings and documenting action items Reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements Coordinating with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams Tracking submittals, RFIs, permits, and project documentation Supporting procurement and material coordination efforts Monitoring project progress and helping identify potential risks or issues Assisting with project closeout documentation and turnover requirements This role supports multiple projects simultaneously and requires both office and field involvement.
  • Approximately 70% of your time will be spent on active jobsites throughout the Houston area and 30% in the office.
  • What We're Looking For Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and strong follow-through Ability to build relationships with field and office teams Desire to learn commercial construction and project management Comfortable visiting jobsites throughout the Houston area Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software Construction, engineering, project coordination, or related experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred but not required What Sets You Apart You enjoy solving problems and finding solutions.
