Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Manage and expand relationships with existing commercial HVAC clients
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in target markets
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals
- Deliver professional presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts
- Conduct regular client meetings and site visits
- Align company solutions with client needs and expectations
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure delivery success
Market Development & Strategy
- Analyze market trends, competition, and industry developments
- Identify new opportunities for growth and service expansion
- Provide strategic insights and feedback to leadership
- Represent the company at industry events and networking functions
Leadership & Team Development
- Establish sales processes, systems, and best practices
- Prepare to build and lead a sales team as the company grows
- Mentor and develop future sales team members
- Contribute to long-term sales strategy and organizational scaling
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain CRM data and sales documentation
- Prepare sales reports and performance updates
- Manage expenses and ensure compliance with company policies
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 57+ years of sales experience in the commercial HVAC industry
- Current experience in HVAC sales (construction HVAC strongly preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated ability to build long-term client relationships
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and applications
- Knowledge of commercial construction processes and project cycles
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Consultative, solution-oriented sales approach
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial HVAC construction sales
- Established network within the Texas HVAC market
- Previous leadership or team development experience
- Experience managing complex, multi-phase commercial projects
- Knowledge of energy solutions and building systems integration
- Experience scaling or growing a sales organization

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Flexible work setup with no required daily office attendance (HQ in Fort Worth, TX)
- Regular travel to client sites, construction locations, and mechanical rooms
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and navigate construction environments as needed
- Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) and access to industrial spaces
