Job Title: Director of Conference and Event Services
Position Summary: Directs the planning, development, marketing, execution and evaluation of conferences and events for the University as well as managing event contracts. Ensures maximum utilization of physical space, equipment and services for academic, administrative and community clients. Ensures high quality customer service is shown to all internal and external customer events. Serves as the System Administrator for the campus event management system.

Qualifications:
Experience Needed: At least three years of project management, customer service or event planning, preferably occurring in a higher education environment. Experience maintaining an event management system database is preferred.
Working Conditions: Evening and weekend hours frequently required
Organizational Relationships:
Reports to: Vice President for Business and Finance
Works with: Supporting department personnel
Supervises: Event Management Coordinators, Logistics Coordinator, Event Production Multimedia Coordinator and Event Production Multimedia Technician
