Altus Community Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Medical Director (FMD) to provide clinical leadership and operational management for a Free-Standing Emergency Center within a specified region. The FMD will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective emergency medical care while aligning with organizational goals and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for multiple FSEDs, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
• Manage physician and mid-level provider staffing, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement clinical processes to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
• Oversee quality assurance initiatives and performance improvement programs to maintain high standards of care.
• Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to align operational goals with organizational objectives.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines in all clinical operations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among staff.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Current Texas Medical License
• Medical degree (MD or DO) with a completed residency in any specialty
• Proven experience in emergency medicine and leadership roles within a healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of clinical operations, quality assurance, and performance improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a dynamic work environment
