Harris County Precinct 4 is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager within our Engineering and Construction team. In this diverse and fast paced role, the primary focus of the successful candidate will be Precinct's representative overall responsible individual in the design and construction of complex horizontal infrastructure projects including road and bridge widening and construction, operational traffic improvements, neighborhood level drainage improvements.
Projects are delivered in close collaboration with the Harris County Office of the County Engineer, the Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD), external engineering consultants and construction contractors, and other Precinct 4 teams including Planning and Communications. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the project team and Precinct 4 leadership to address and resolve design and construction issues that may arise. Addressing project-related issues raised by constituents in an emphatic and customer-focused manner is a critical skill.
