Annual Pay, $65,000.00
Under the general direction of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services, will maintain & administer the production of meals to provide the best possible quality and nutritious meals with available financial resources. Directly supervises food-service associates in accordance with policies, procedures, applicable laws related to food & nutrition & CSDE Guidelines Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with recipe development using TITAN or similar recipe database, uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
Requirements:
Knowledge of principles and practices of food production and safety.
Demonstrated knowledge of sound team leadership practices and management procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations which concern school meals.
Servsafe certified.
Experience in employee supervision.
Demonstrated experience and best practices in the implementation of food production systems.
Good communication and computer skills
Experience and training:
A minimum of five years' experience in employment in positions including direct supervisory capacity in food services
