Program Manager For Snowflake Lakehouse Migration

Apex Systems client is seeking a Program Manager who can help manage a Snowflake Lakehouse migration program. As part of this program, the client is planning to retire Oracle Exadata and Data Lake Qubole by establishing a Snowflake based lakehouse architecture. As part of this, the client will have resources from Snowflake, System Integrators and team. We are looking for a PM who can be with us for a period of 8-10 months (extendable).

Required Skills & Qualifications

Heres what you can expect as a Program Manager:

• Influence project decisions and build partnerships across disparate groups to move the program forward.
• Develop a program structure and team to manage multiple tracks of work.
• Use various project management methodologies to ensure deliverables are on time and provide timely status communication to sponsors and stakeholders for large programs.
• Obstacles often arise throughout the program. We expect you to identify these, show flexibility, and adjust the approach.
• Large changes require our people understanding the change, so you will be developing and driving a change management plan with input from program team members.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Able to create/ track program plan in conjunction with different delivery teams

Technical Acumen,

• Knowledge/experience in dealing with EDW and Data Lake
• Experience in dealing with large scale migration programs
• Able to deal with multiple teams including System Integrators
• Experience in data space
