District Representative

Basic functions include working with constituents, district organizations, local governments, and state agencies. Duties involve providing top-notch constituent services, communicating the Senator's position on issues, and attending events and meetings. Desirable skills include excellent communication, analytical skills, and knowledge of the legislative process. Education and qualifications require a Bachelor's degree, legislative experience preferred, and a valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.

This position is located in Bakersfield, CA and requires in person attendance. The Senate's core business hours are 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and may require after hours, holiday, or weekend work. Final salary will be commensurate with experience and education. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
