Qualifications You will need to have either a bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Every 2 years of relative experience can be substituted for one year of education experience At least 2-3 Years of post-education experience will also be required, as strong relationship building capabilities usually comes with time and experience You will have to meet organizational goals and accept ownership of your role, your team, and your carrier base We do require all of our management staff members to have exceptional leadership abilities and have full mastery and expertise within the Logistics Brokerage industry You should be up-to-speed with all of the latest trends and current events Being a recent CTB course graduate will definitely propel you in this position Intermediate computer utilization skills are required, and it also helps if you have prior Transportation Management System (TMS) experience SAP, McLeod Software, Keypoint, Aljex Software, or any of the top brokerage software that exists However, that can be substituted with prior IT-related experience Having an existing book of clients helps a lot too!
