Location: Amarillo, TX
The Commissioning Director is responsible for leading and managing all commissioning activities across multiple projects, ensuring systems and facilities meet design specifications and operational requirements. This role oversees the full commissioning lifecyclefrom planning and pre-functional checks to integrated system testing and final handoverwhile maintaining compliance with codes, standards, and client expectations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CCP, LEED AP) preferred.
Minimum 10+ years in commissioning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record in managing large-scale projects (data centers, industrial facilities, healthcare, or similar).
Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
Expertise in MEP systems, energy efficiency, and commissioning software tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Attributes
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
Familiarity with sustainability standards and energy optimization practices.
Willingness to travel and adapt to dynamic project environments.
