Position Specific Description The Storage Integration team is looking for an innovative and dynamic Project Director who is passionate about renewable energy. In this position you will be heavily involved with Renewable Development projects from beginning to end, to include exposure to cross functional teams across the NextEra Energy Resources organization. You will be part of a growing team of experts who not only provide excellent inputs and analysis but are also customer service oriented with internal and external stakeholders. Employees in this role are strong problem solvers, blending creative and analytical skills to solve the grid problems of today and future. You will use utilize data from various internal and external sources to perform technical & market analysis and propose storage & hybrid solutions to support our customers' evolving needs. As an internal consultant, you will be expected to work collaboratively with Developers, Originators, and technical SMEs to support RFPs, customer discussions and PPA negotiations.
Job Overview Employees in this role develop and execute plans for new or enhanced generation projects. This job is responsible for resource allocation, schedules, cost and technical adequacy, ensuring the project or transaction is completed in the most cost effective and competitive manner. This position manages all aspects of the business deal and ensures the project is completed on time and within budgetary constraints.
