Candidate must be located in Alabama: Auburn or Dothan or Troy or Enterprise Remote - no office location. Will travel to sites Generally 8 hours per day. The hours are more likely to be 7:00 am - 4:00 pm CST or 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST, with a 1 hour meal break.
Must have fiber construction experience - not tower. Be able to conduct independent site inspections of outside plant and inside plant cable construction in aerial, underground, small cell nodes, and customer building (venue) facilities, with a thorough knowledge of all issues related to local and state permitting, pole and conduit licensing procedures from Utilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must understand fiber installation (underground and aerial), including splicing and testing specifications, and ability to read and understand blueprints/construction drawings.
Basic understanding of web application infrastructure and front-end/database technologies. Fluent with standard Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Visio, etc....). Google Earth, Adobe Acrobat, Computer Skills, etc. Field measuring and audit verification techniques, photo inspection capabilities.
