Description:
Strong Telecom business knowledge and Carrier Access Billing System (CABS) Revenue assurance background is must.
5+ years of proven experience and knowledge of how complex Telecom Enterprise & Wholesale products like DS1, DS3, OC circuits, Optical wavelengths, MPLS, Geomax, SHARP, SONET Rings, UNIs, EVC, NNIs, Nodes, Hubs, Multiplexing works end to end from ordering, provisioning and billing.
Ability to lead Revenue assurance team to realize revenue on the complex CABS audits and recover the revenue leakage / true up to invoicing.
Thorough understanding of FCC and ISG Tariff and ability to match the ordering/invoicing with the rates.
Must have proven audit experience of finding billing anomalies and getting them corrected.
Proficient with SQL, complex construct, joins and able to extract CABS revenue leakage reports.
Should have sound Mainframe systems navigational understanding.
Lead efforts that prevent revenue leakage, reduce cost, increase revenue, and reduce defects. Root cause and error resolution resulting in revenue recovery, revenue loss, or cost savings.
Audit and evaluate customer's invoices, contracts, and orders to ensure revenue is billed appropriately and adequate margin is obtained. Analyze customer's offnet access charges and offnet architecture against customer's revenue and work with stakeholders to optimize.
Ability to perform data analysis on large scale data, triaging of issues, and follow-up with relevant teams for resolution.
Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple disciplines and functions.
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and "clean data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Initiate and oversee revenue transformation initiatives from concept, through testing, to final implementation
Oversee documentation of processes in order to optimize and systemically approach improvement and revisions to execute best practices
Provide professional guidance to decision makers by helping to organize and explain new data sources to increase efficiency and drive revenue
