Veterinary Technician - Swing Shift

VCA Chatoak Animal Hospital is seeking a full time Experienced Veterinary Technician to join the team at our AAHA accredited, full-service hospital in Granada Hills, CA.

Compensation: $ 27 - $ 30 / hr. Depending on experience/credentials. Shift differential Friday - Sunday

Schedule: Full-Time, Four / Five days a week including weekends. Days. Swing Shift

Location: 17659 Chatsworth St, Granada Hills, CA 91344

• Physical examinations and patient assessment

• Anesthesia monitoring

• Surgical preparation and assisting

• Laboratory work

• Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, IV fluid therapy

• Catheter placement

• Pharmacy

• Patient recovery

• Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals

• All aspects of patient care

• Animal handling and restraint

• IM, IV,SQ injections

• Dental cleanings/dental radiography

• Digital radiography

• Nursing care/hospitalization treatments

• Client communication
