Description The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of construction projects, ensuring that each is delivered on time, within budget, and meets client expectations. Key responsibilities include: Oversee Project Management: Lead the day-to-day management of construction projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives. Provide Leadership: Guide and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring adherence to project goals, timelines, and quality standards. Coordinate Project Requirements: Ensure seamless coordination between project disciplines, facilitating synergy and efficiency across all aspects of the project. Monitor Reporting Systems: Review and manage project reporting systems, preparing detailed progress and cost reports for clients and senior management. Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and strengthen client relationships to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction. Prepare Competitive Bid Packages: Develop and organize detailed bid packages, inviting competitive proposals for project work. Bid Analysis & Award Recommendations: Review, analyze, and clarify bids, making well-informed recommendations for contract awards. Cost & Schedule Oversight: Establish, monitor, and maintain project budgets and schedules, ensuring proactive management of resources. Vendor Submittal Management: Oversee the review, approval, and timely processing of vendor submittals, expediting material and equipment deliveries as needed. Project Status Reporting: Prepare comprehensive status reports to keep clients informed and aligned with project progress. Site Utilization & Crew Management: Develop and implement an effective site utilization plan, determining optimal crew sizes to meet project demands. Profile Qualifications for Senior Project Manager - Top Southeastern GC - Columbia: 8+ Years of Experience: Proven track record as a Project Manager with a General Contractor (GC) or Developer, managing complex construction projects. Commercial or Multifamily Expertise: Demonstrated success in leading commercial or multifamily construction projects from inception to completion. Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred, though not required with equivalent experience. Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of industry-standard construction software, ensuring efficient project planning, tracking, and reporting.
