The position is responsible for supporting the project management team with advanced planning, scheduling, progress measurement, change management implementation and analysis that may involve a major project or several smaller projects.
Implement Project Planning & Scheduling strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both Company and contractor roles, responsibilities, and expectations
Provide interface and quality assurance to Project functional groups and contractors regarding the tracking and reporting of schedule performance
Conduct the required project schedule analysis, critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis for the project as a whole
Analyze deviations from the baseline in the Project Master schedule highlighting bottlenecks / delays and propose corrective actions
Prepare the Integrated Planning / Scheduling contribution to the Monthly Project Report and specific reports / presentations
Analyze and highlight the overall schedule impact of any variance / change order
Prepare staffing, engineering and construction progress and customized reports
Ensure that schedule related data from vendors, suppliers, engineering and construction contractors of actual projects is provided as feedback into the planning and scheduling systems
Ability to work in multiple discipline projects
Ensure compliance of all safety procedures and policies while promoting the Company's safety culture.
Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Develop analytical project management tools for reporting such as Power BI.
Bachelor's degree in related field
10+ years of experience in project controls and/or time/schedule management experience
Expert experience level using project scheduling tools (Primavera, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
Knowledge of construction activities related to project scope, cost, financial management and scheduling.
Knowledgeable in all phases of the project management life cycle.
Will work in an office and job site setting (indoors/outdoors).
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity.
Constantly perform repeating motions that may include feet, leg, wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Frequently communicate with other members of the team. Must be able to exchange accurate information in a clear manner.
Work that includes moving and/or lifting objects up to 25 pounds.
