Job description


Join our technical delivery team as a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer. You'll work on diverse projects designing HVAC systems, structural solutions, and mechanical equipment that bring customer visions to life across multiple industries. Based in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, and the neighboring New York City area, you'll be at the heart of innovation. Are you ready to make an impact? What will you do? * Support the design, implementation, and commissioning of HVAC, BAS/BMS, and building control systems across a variety of customer applications. * Collaborate with engineers, project managers, customers, and subcontractors to deliver projects from design through closeout. * Assist with equipment selection, controls programming, startup activities, system testing, and technical documentation. * Troubleshoot and resolve system, equipment, and customer issues to ensure reliable performance and customer satisfaction. * Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents while maintaining accurate project records and supporting project execution activities. * Develop expertise in building automation technologies, software, graphics, and control systems through hands-on field and project experience. What qualifications will make you successful for this role? * Bachelor's or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field * Local to Lyndhurst, New Jersey or New York City, New York area * Have a valid driver's license * Hands-on experience in the field/construction sites * Opportunities to learn from experienced team members * Opportunities for growth and to expand your career For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $75,000 - $80,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
