  • Monitor project progress and proactively address issues, conflicts, and delays to keep the project on schedule.
  • Apply strong conflict management and assertive communication skills to resolve on-site disputes and maintain productive working relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, promoting a culture of safety on the job site.
  • Manage construction for a 3-story bank renovation project, working closely with the general contractor and carpentry teams on a six-day-per-week schedule.
  • Transition to and oversee a large-scale, ground-up, multi-purpose building project that includes retail space and a multi-story Sr living component.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including general contractors and trade partners, to support successful project delivery from cradle to grave.
  • Utilize construction management tools and scheduling software, such as Procore, to plan, track, and report on project activities when applicable.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • OSHA certification.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Access to and use of a personal vehicle for daily travel to job sites.
  • Strong conflict management skills and a high level of assertiveness in directing on-site activities.
  • Experience in construction supervision and construction management on commercial and mixed-use projects.
  • Knowledge of site construction practices, safety requirements, and general contracting processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in multi-family, Sr living, mixed-use, and multi-purpose projects.
  • Experience with retail construction and commercial project delivery.
  • Familiarity with post-tension slab construction and multi-story building methods.
  • Metal building (PEMB) experience is a plus.
  • Heavy equipment operator certification is preferred.
  • Experience using Procore or similar construction scheduling and project management software.
  • Experience working with general contractors and subcontractor management on ground-up and renovation projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high safety standards and promote a safe jobsite.
