Job description
Bookkeeper PositionRainbow Restoration of Cincinnati/NKY is a trusted leader in restoration and cleaning services, dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our accounting processes. If you're a strategic thinker with a strong accounting background and a passion for driving financial success, we'd love to have you join our team!We are looking for a Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-cycle accounting, a good understanding of QuickBooks Online, and job costing while working collaboratively with our team. This role will report directly to the Owner and play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and financial health.Key Responsibilities:Full-Cycle Accounting:Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger maintenance, and month-end/year-end closings.Financial Reporting:Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Budgeting and Forecasting:Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.Reconciliations:Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.Payroll Management:Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate report of hours, overtime, bonuses, and commissions benefits, and as well as benefit and garnishment deductions.Sales Tax and Compliance:Manage sales tax calculations, filings, and payments, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.Accounts Payable and Receivable:Supervise the AP/AR processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections, while maintaining strong vendor and client relationships.Loan and Debt Management:Record and reconcile loan payments, monitor debt schedules, and ensure timely payments and accurate reporting.Audit and Compliance:Prepare for and support internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.Team Leadership:Collaborate with the estimating and other departments, fostering a team-oriented environment and providing guidance on financial processes and best practices.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, implement best practices, and enhance internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.Qualifications:Experience:Minimum of 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience.Technical Skills:Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.Leadership:Proven ability to lead and collaborate with a team, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and drive financial strategy.Why Join Us?- Opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing company.- Collaborative and supportive work environment with a focus on professional growth.- A culture that values integrity, teamwork, and excellence.Rainbow Restoration of Cincinnati/NKY is an equal opportunity employer.Compensation:$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
