As an Activity Assistant, you will help plan, organize, and lead engaging recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that promote residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Your enthusiasm and dedication will play a key role in creating a positive and vibrant environment for our residents. Position Details * Position: Full-Time Activity Assistant * Location: San Leandro, CA * Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour * Schedule: Full-Time (weekends and holidays as needed) Responsibilities * Assist in planning and implementing daily activity programs * Lead group activities, games, arts and crafts, and special events * Encourage resident participation and engagement * Provide one-on-one visits and support for residents unable to attend group activities * Assist with decorating and preparing activity spaces * Transport residents to and from activities as needed * Maintain activity records and documentation * Support community outings and special celebrations * Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and positive atmosphere Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Experience in healthcare, senior living, recreation, or customer service is a plus * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Compassionate, patient, and dependable * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Basic computer skills preferred * Ability to lift, push, pull, and transport activity supplies and equipment as needed Why Join Us? * Competitive pay * Supportive and team-oriented workplace * Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives * Ongoing training and professional development * Rewarding career in healthcare and senior services If you're passionate about enriching the lives of others through creativity, companionship, and engagement, apply today and become part of the dedicated team at All Saints Sub Acute.
