Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Boston, MA | Flexible Schedule & Competitive Pay

Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $159.46/hour

What You’ll Do
  • Provide inpatient pain management care for pediatric patients recovering from surgery
  • Manage complex cases including cancer pain, sickle cell, and critically ill children
  • Administer and oversee pain procedures such as epidurals and PCA management
  • Assess patients, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with attending MD and charge APRNs
  • Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
  • Support patients in critical condition and those weaning from sedatives
  • Work primarily weekend daytime or night shifts, including blocked shifts as scheduled

What You Need
  • Valid MA State Nurse Practitioner License
  • Certification as a Pediatric NP or Pediatric Acute Care NP with relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years pediatric inpatient experience
  • BLS and PALS certification (additional certifications preferred)
  • Strong assessment skills, empathy, and the ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to start promptly with credentialing completed within 60 days
