Please apply if you are interested in the details below!Accounts Payable RepresentativeLocation:Ann Arbor, MI (Hybrid Working Schedule)Pay:$24-26/hourType:Contract to HireWhat you'll do on a typical day:Responsibilities:Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox, ensuring all incoming invoices and related documents are reviewed and verified. Investigate discrepancies or missing information as needed.Ensure accurate data entry of invoices and ensure timely processing for payment.Audit expense submissions from employees and contractors to ensure compliance with internal travel and reimbursement guidelines. Collaborate with submitters and approvers to resolve any issues.Maintain and update vendor records within the ERP system to ensure accuracy and completeness.Support the month-end closing process by contributing to accrual-related tasks. Must be able to identify which data needs to be tracked for accruals and be able to route that to another department employee for follow throughProvide prompt and professional responses to inquiries related to accounts payable.Degree not required, but nice to have1years of experience with accruals, journal entries, full-cycle accounts payable, and expense reporting, working with debits/creditsMust have an understanding of debits and credits, as well as the AP process overall.
