The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Material Planner Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leading cross functional projects across the business to effectively drive change in service, cost, and inventory
- Developing and maintaining operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand
- Providing a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making
- Publishing and presenting service and inventory metrics and results
- Identifying and leading projects that improve supply chain speed and inventory investment. Review and reports on project progress with management
- Working closely with the business unit to understand customer requirements and forecasts. Working closely with manufacturing to ensure alignment to business requirements by setting and maintaining sufficient inventory levels and lead times. Managing the Sales and Operation Planning process
- Actively managing working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets
- Utilizing Supply Chain tools and processes such as PMCS, Peoplesoft, and Factory Planner
- Utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve service, inventory turns, and non-working inventory
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and two (2) years of combine experience in procurement or planning in a private, public, government or military environment.
OR
- High School diploma, GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and eight (8) years of combine experience in procurement or planning in a private, public, government or military environment.

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic
Relocation: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $84,595 - $103,394, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
