Required Skills:

• Valid SPED license for Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of special education teaching experience
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to collaborate with staff, students, and families effectively
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Special Education, or related field
• Prior experience working in middle school settings
• Experience with diverse learning needs and intervention strategies

Other Requirements:

• Must undergo and pass a criminal record check as a condition of employment, per state law
• Availability to work during typical school hours (day shift)
• Licensing & Certification: Valid SPED license in Texas
