This role leads campus recruiting, manages experienced-hire recruiting, and develops consistent processes that reflect the firm’s commitment to responsive service, clear communication, and trusted relationships. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, service-minded, and skilled at creating thoughtful experiences that build confidence among candidates, new hires, and clients.

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a growing public accounting firm built on responsive service, trusted relationships, and professional excellence. Our client takes pride in delivering attentive client service while fostering a collaborative, people-centered culture. They are seeking a polished, relationship-driven professional to help attract exceptional talent and create a positive first impression for new hires and new clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campus Recruiting and University Relations

  • Lead campus recruiting for internships and entry-level positions.
  • Build relationships with career services offices, professors, student organizations, and faculty at targeted universities.
  • Represent the firm at campus events, career fairs, networking events, and information sessions.
  • Coordinate internship recruiting, interviews, and campus engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with firm leaders and staff to strengthen campus visibility and brand awareness.
  • Track recruiting metrics and report on campus recruiting activity.

Experienced Hire Recruiting

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for professional-level positions.
  • Partner with firm leaders to define staffing needs and recruiting strategies.
  • Source, screen, interview, and guide candidates through the hiring process.
  • Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Ensure a professional, responsive, and high-quality candidate experience.
  • Coordinate offers, negotiations, and new-hire transition activities.

Talent Integration Transition

  • Enhance the current, structured integration experience that welcomes new hires, accelerates ramp-up, and reinforces firm culture, expectations, and standards.
  • Create transition workflows, timelines, checklists, communications, and touchpoints to promote consistency, accountability, and development.
  • Partner with firm leadership, hiring managers, and client service teams to enhance first impressions for new hires.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms and measures of success to evaluate satisfaction, identify gaps, and improve the transition experience.

Special Projects

  • Collaborate with firm leaders in developing a high-touch new client transition experience that is organized, responsive, and confidence-building while helping to ensure transitions from prior providers are managed with professionalism, empathy, proactive communication, and mindfulness.
  • Cooperate with the Human Resources Director, as time permits, on selected HR initiatives, special projects, and process improvements that advance the firm’s people strategy and employee experience.
  • Contribute coordination, communication, and project assistance for HR-related efforts where helpful, while keeping primary focus on recruiting, talent integration, and client transition responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, employee or client experience, or a related role, preferably in public accounting or professional services.
  • Proven ability to manage campus recruiting, university relationships, and experienced-hire recruiting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to represent the firm professionally to candidates, universities, and clients.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver a consistent, high-quality experience.
  • Sound judgment, professionalism, and a service-minded approach to internal and external relationships.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office applications, and process-oriented workflow management.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience recruiting within a public accounting firm or similarly credentialed professional services organization.
  • Familiarity with internship, campus, and entry-level accounting recruiting cycles.
  • Understanding of CPA-track recruiting, accounting talent markets, and expectations of experienced professionals considering a firm change.
  • Experience designing or improving employee integration, client transition, or first-impression processes.

SUCCESS MEASURES

  • Strength of campus recruiting pipelines, candidate quality, and intern or entry-level conversion.
  • Timely, effective filling of experienced-hire positions with a positive candidate experience.
  • Quality and consistency of new-hire integration, including preparedness, communication, and early engagement.
  • Quality of new client transitions, including responsiveness, organization, and early client confidence.
  • Continued improvement of processes, feedback mechanisms, and coordination that enhance first impressions and long-term relationships.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, etc.
  • PTO beginning with 120 hours annually.
  • Weekly work from home day after completion of the introductory period.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and long-term advancement.
  • A collaborative environment that values initiative, professionalism, and trusted relationships.
  • The opportunity to make a visible impact on firm growth, talent strategy, and client experience.
