The Tax Administrator will provide administrative and operational support to the tax department at Breslow Starling. This role assists with tax return workflow, client communication, document management, tax organizers, and general office administration to ensure an efficient and organized tax process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, distribute, and track tax organizers and engagement letters
- Manage client document collection and maintain electronic files
- Assist with tax return assembly, e-filing, and delivery to clients
- Monitor deadlines and support workflow management during tax season
- Communicate with clients regarding missing information and appointment scheduling
- Provide administrative support to tax partners and staff
- Assist with office management and general administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Tax and Accounting Software and Microsoft Office and document management systems is preferred
- High attention to detail and professionalism
- Prior administrative experience, preferably in a CPA or professional services firm is preferred
This position operates as part of a US East Coast-based team, with typical working hours aligning with EST to facilitate effective collaboration. We offer flexibility in managing your schedule to maintain a healthy work-life balance while meeting business needs. We are excited to invite talented individuals to join our dynamic team! This position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000-$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
