Job Description
Develop and manage the regulatory strategy across product categories; interpret and apply global regulations (e.g., FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation, Health Canada). Oversee product dossiers, notifications, and registrations across multiple markets; coordinate with external regulatory partners and stakeholders as needed. Manage safety assessments and adverse event reporting processes in line with regulatory expectations. Lead internal audits and support third-party or regulatory inspections; ensure timely resolution of findings. Approve labeling and packaging to ensure compliance with regional requirements. Partner with R&D, supply chain, marketing, and commercial teams to integrate regulatory considerations into product development. Track evolving global regulations and communicate potential business impacts. Oversee extended producer responsibility obligations and support sustainability initiatives related to packaging and compliance. Maintain and improve quality management systems, processes, and documentation. Act as the quality lead with external manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure adherence to standards.

The Successful Applicant
Required: Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs). 5+ years of progressive experience in quality and/or regulatory roles within consumer goods, personal care, or adjacent industries. Strong working knowledge of U.S. and international regulatory frameworks, with experience supporting multi-region product compliance. Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, or maintaining quality systems aligned with GMP/ISO standards. Proven ability to support product commercialization from a compliance and quality standpoint. Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex regulatory requirements for cross-functional stakeholders. Proficiency with regulatory documentation tools, data systems, and standard business software.
Preferred: Advanced degree or professional certification in regulatory affairs or a related field. Experience working with premium or high-growth consumer brands. Familiarity with ingredient compliance standards and restricted substances management. Exposure to large retail or e-commerce regulatory requirements. Knowledge of evolving U.S. regulatory updates impacting consumer products.
