Job Summary Under general supervision, the Machine Operator will be responsible for but not limited to the picking, packing, sorting, of materials utilizing either a forklift, reach truck, stock picker, counter balance truck or an electric pallet jack. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Other minor duties may be assigned.
Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
Responsible for reading orders.
Works with but not limited to using a sit-down forklift, reach truck, stock picker, counterbalance truck, pacer and an electric pallet jack.
Works with but not limited to, RF scanners and computers.
Adhere to all safety requirements.
Other responsibilities as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory duties. Qualifications Education and Experience Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Minimum (1) years of relevant work experience is required. Experience: Greater than (1-3) years of relevant work experience is preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally eligible to work in the United States. Licenses: Valid Driver's License is required. Licenses: Forklift, reach truck or other equivalent licenses are preferred. Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required Proficient with Reading Orders Proficient in following written and verbal instructions. Experience with computers is preferred. Proficient Math Skills Interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with all members of the team. Knowledge of Crown, Yale, or Hyster brand material handling equipment is strongly preferred.
