The State Corporation Commission (SCC) seeks a Student Loan Servicer Examiner with a passion for public service and protecting the public interest in Virginia by helping to maintain a safe, sound, and competitive financial services environment. Joining the Bureau of Financial Institutions (Bureau), the Student Loan Servicer Examiner will conduct and assist in the examinations of qualified education loan servicers ("licensee"). The Student Loan Servicer Examiner will review transactions (loans and agreements), operations, financial statements, policies and procedures. This position requires travel in and out of state (up 25% of the time). The SCC offers a flexible telework schedule, career growth, and professional development opportunities including on-the-job training, certifications, and designations.
