Software Developer

Salary: $76,462 - 92,083 per year

Requirements:

• Demonstrated background leading software development initiatives in a hands-on technical setting.
• Strong command of C#, .NET, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving established codebases.
• Experience creating new capabilities for shared libraries, DLLs, and reusable software components.
• Experience with ERP, financial systems, or other enterprise business platforms.
• Knowledge of EDI integrations and APIs, including REST and SOAP services.
• Ability to create resource plans, balance competing priorities, and deliver projects through completion.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and business stakeholders.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Availability to work onsite 3–5 days per week in the Grand Haven/Norton Shores, Michigan area.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with clients to uncover requirements and business pain points, then translate them into technical solutions.
• Plan project scope, estimate resource needs, and maintain project schedules.
• Design, code, test, and support software solutions using C#, .NET, and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain custom software that connects with ERP, financial, and other business systems.
• Create new features and enhance existing applications, libraries, and shared components.
• Support EDI workflows and integrations to help ensure reliable data exchange across systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues as needed.
