We provide dog walking, pet sitting, cat care, puppy visits, and overnight care throughout Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, South Miami, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, and surrounding neighborhoods.

• Important Location Requirement Because our services are provided in clients’ homes, applicants must live in or very near our service areas.
• This requirement is especially important because Pet Care Specialists travel between client homes during their assigned work.

• Coral Gables Coconut Grove South Miami Dadeland East Kendall Pinecrest Palmetto Bay Schedule Availability This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling between visits.
• Our scheduling needs vary by service.
• Weekday daytime availability is important for dog walking and puppy visits. Pet sitting needs are early mornings, later evenings and on weekends. Availability is an important consideration, but it is not the only factor in hiring decisions. Miami Pet Concierge prioritizes highly qualified candidates who demonstrate professionalism, reliability, sound judgment, and a genuine love of animals , along with a commitment to remain in the role for at least 9 months.

Responsibilities Pet Care Specialists are responsible for:

• Walking dogs (30–60 minutes) based on client instructions Feeding pets and refreshing water Cleaning litter boxes and food bowls Picking up and properly disposing of waste Administering medications when required Observing and reporting changes in behavior or health Locking homes and managing security systems when applicable Sending clear, timely updates and photos to clients Following all client-specific care instructions accurately What Success Looks Like Successful Pet Care Specialists consistently: Show up reliably and on time Follow instructions with accuracy and care Notice small but important changes in pets or environment Communicate clearly and proactively Make sound decisions when situations are not straightforward Treat every home with respect and professionalism Build trust with pets and clients over time Requirements Applicants must: Be 18 years or older Have a reliable automobile and valid auto insurance Have a smartphone with camera and data plan Communicate fluently in English Be physically able to walk dogs and climb stairs Be comfortable working outdoors in Miami weather Be dependable, responsible, and detail-oriented Be able to commit to the role for at least 9 months Previous pet care experience is helpful but not required.
