Assistant Restaurant Manager - Customer Service

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that’s all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade®. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in the leadership and success of the restaurant by overseeing operations, developing leaders, and helping execute the vision of the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading restaurant operations and ensuring excellence during assigned shifts
• Supporting and developing Shift Leaders and Team Members
• Coaching and holding team members accountable to Chick-fil-A standards
• Managing daily operational execution, labor, productivity, and guest experience
• Maintaining high standards for food quality, hospitality, cleanliness, and safety
• Identifying opportunities for operational improvement and implementing solutions
• Assisting with hiring, onboarding, training, and leadership development
• Helping drive team engagement, culture, and retention
• Resolving guest concerns and operational challenges with professionalism and urgency
• Partnering with senior leadership to achieve business goals and objectives
• Leading by example through servant leadership, professionalism, and a strong work ethic

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of restaurant, hospitality, retail, or leadership experience preferred
• Previous management or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to lead teams and achieve performance goals
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to analyze situations, make decisions, and solve problems effectively
• Flexible availability, including evenings, Saturdays, and holidays
• Alignment with Chick-fil-A's values, mission, and culture
