Surgical Technologist - CVOR Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures for an assignment in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is critical in supporting our surgical teams, ensuring optimal patient outcomes during complex cardiovascular interventions. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic surgical environment, providing expert assistance to surgeons and nurses. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, and managing surgical instruments and equipment throughout various cardiovascular surgeries. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the sterile surgical field and equipment for cardiovascular procedures. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team, passing instruments and supplies efficiently and accurately. Assist with patient positioning, draping, and specimen handling as directed. Ensure proper functioning, maintenance, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and all safety protocols to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless surgical flow. Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program. Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist, with demonstrated experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting. Preferred Qualifications Not specified.
