Project Engineer
Support Project Managers on design-build public works projects (MTA, SCA, DASNY, etc.)
Coordinate between architects, engineers, consultants, and field teams
Track RFIs, submittals, design revisions, and change orders throughout construction
Assist with scheduling, cost tracking, and procurement of materials
Review drawings and ensure alignment between design intent and field execution
Help manage project documentation, logs, and reporting
Support coordination of inspections, permitting, and agency compliance requirements
Participate in project meetings, coordination calls, and site walkthroughs
Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and final documentation
Identify coordination issues early and help drive resolutions

A successful Project Engineer should have:
1-10 years of experience with a GC or CM (Project Engineer / APM track)
Experience on design-build or design-assist projects strongly preferred
Exposure to public sector or agency work in NYC (MTA, SCA, DASNY ideal)
Strong understanding of construction documents, drawings, and coordination workflows
Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, and project documentation processes
Highly organized with strong communication skills across design + field teams
Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $185,000 USD annually.
