Accounting ClerkThe Accounting Clerk supports the Office Director/Controller and Store Managers by performing a variety of administrative, accounting, and bookkeeping functions. This role is essential to daily operations and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and collaboration across multiple dealership locations. Responsibilities include clerical support, cash reconciliation, deal processing, and assisting with accounting-related tasks.ResponsibilitiesReconcile and prepare daily cash and credit card deposits; send email communications regarding cash sales and discountsProcess daily floor-plan payoffs and reconcile floor-plan statements monthlyProcess finalized vehicle deals, including separating paperwork, making copies, overnight contracts to lenders, and posting deals to accounting while ensuring all procedures are followed accuratelyCalculate and process sales commissionsComplete dealer trade paperwork in accounting and issue checks as neededProcess weekly wholesale transactions in accounting and send titles to auctionProcure weekly spiff payments for Parts and Service departmentsCalculate petty cash monthly and reimburse stores accordinglyVerify weekly that assigned schedules are cleared or that explanations are provided for outstanding transactionsCoordinate with stores to maintain adequate office suppliesUse various spreadsheets daily to maintain accurate records and promote clear communicationWork closely with assigned store teams and other office personnel to support overall operationsQualificationsExperience in the automotive industry preferredProficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong organizational, communication, and computer skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesTeam-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and follow-throughProven record of positive customer service or internal supportBenefitsCompetitive PayMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanGroup Life InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountPaid VacationEqual Opportunity EmployerRosen Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
