Non-Negotiables

• A bachelor's degree in engineering is required for this position
• You must have at least ten years of progressive experience in sensor product development
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams that include electrical, firmware, mechanical, and systems disciplines is essential
• You need a strong background in electronic-based products that use embedded microcontrollers, sensors, and firmware
• Experience with sensor applications in automotive, commercial vehicle, off-road, or industrial markets is non-negotiable
• You must have managed engineering groups across both U.S. and global locations
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed is expected

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire development process for sensor products aimed at both U.S. and global markets
• Drive the design and launch of electronic-based products that incorporate embedded microcontrollers, sensors, and firmware
• Direct multidisciplinary engineering teams covering electrical, firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering
• Manage engineering groups across U.S. and international locations to deliver innovative sensor solutions
• Set the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with market demands from concept through production
• Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence
• Coordinate with global teams and travel internationally to support projects and drive collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• A master's degree in engineering or an MBA is a strong plus
• Experience with smart sensors and embedded technology stacks is highly valued
• A background in automotive, off-highway, or industrial electronics sectors is advantageous
