Responsibilities

Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in the area of Independence, MO and we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Therapist to provide high-quality mental health services to individuals, families, and/or groups. The ideal candidate is client-focused, ethical, and committed to helping clients achieve meaningful, lasting change.The name Three Trails was selected to honor the historical significance of the city of Independence as the starting point for the Santa Fe, Oregon and California Trails. The logo icon is a compass, which is symbolic of wayfinding, and metaphorically the personal journey to recovery.The Groundbreaking for the new hospital was held in January 5. Beam topping was held in July 5. The facility is expected to open in the second half of 6.The Mental Health Technician (MHT) will:
  • Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions
  • Conduct client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and organizational standards
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and community resources
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards
  • Participate in case consultations, supervision, and team meetings
Three Trails Behavioral Hospital will:
  • Serve children and adolescents, adults and seniors with innovative and evidence-based inpatient behavioral healthcare focused on individual needs and comfort.
  • Create more than new, full-time jobs including nurses, clinicians, therapists, technicians and administrative staff, when the facility is fully operational.
  • Be located at the intersection of I- and Little Blue Parkway, adjacent to the Children’s Mercy Hospital Outpatient Clinics.
  • Feature licensed beds ready to meet the mental health needs of the surrounding community.
  • Span more than , square feet, and will include an activity yard and gym.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Active, unrestricted state licensure LMFT, LPC, or LCSW
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills
  • Experience with behavioral health or related field preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
