Job Description Job Title Breast Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary This is an exciting travel opportunity for a skilled Breast Ultrasound Technologist to join a dedicated Breast Care Imaging team in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves performing advanced breast ultrasound examinations within an outpatient setting, contributing to comprehensive diagnostic imaging services. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a wide range of breast imaging techniques, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic support for a diverse patient population. This position requires a commitment to excellence and collaboration within a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced breast ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols. Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Position patients appropriately for optimal imaging results and comfort. Document findings accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records. Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Required Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, specifically within breast imaging. Demonstrated experience with Advanced Breast Ultrasound techniques. Preferred Qualifications Not specified. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in performing diagnostic breast ultrasound procedures. Expertise in operating various ultrasound equipment and imaging software. Strong anatomical knowledge relevant to breast imaging. Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Attention to detail and commitment to image quality. Shift Details Shift Type: Day Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Days per Week: 5 (Monday - Friday) Call Requirements: Not specified. Weekend Rotation: Not specified. Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: July 27, 2026 End Date: October 24, 2026 Licensing Requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification.
