Job description
Join a dynamic healthcare administrative team as an Administrative Business Office Manager, overseeing daily office operations and ensuring smooth billing processes. This role involves managing staff attendance, conducting interviews, and supporting performance appraisals to maintain a high-functioning office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOrganize and supervise daily office procedures and services.Monitor billing staff attendance and address policy adherence.Recruit, interview, and recommend candidates for open positions.Assist in drafting annual performance reviews for business office personnel.Oversee Accounts Receivable status both individually and cumulatively.Review and approve supply requisitions and manage clerical billing functions.Promote outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all stakeholders.Maintain and provide input on billing and registration systems, including charge master accuracy and billing codes.Serve on committees to oversee system maintenance and communicate with vendors regarding system issues and enhancements.EducationPreferred:Associate's degree in Business or Medical Office Administration.ExperienceMinimum of three years in a supervisory office role; five years preferred in a medical office supervisory capacity.RequirementsStrong coaching, counseling, and disciplinary skills.Excellent mathematical and reasoning abilities.Proficiency with personal computers and spreadsheet applications.Ability to read, understand, and communicate oral and written instructions effectively.Integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence in leadership and communication.Ability to manage conflict, inspire teams, and lead process improvements.This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package within a supportive healthcare environment serving the Midwest region of the United States.
