You will manage the POS System, budgeting, costing, A/P, and A/R along with presenting financial results to leadership. maintaining client and employee relations.Key Responsibilities:Maintains banks and accountability of cash transactions on a daily basisTracks and maintains monthly P/L and balance sheet activityReviews general ledger and balance sheetResolves various accounting/reconciliation issuesAssists with monthly, quarterly, annual reports, including monthly and fiscal close, internal and external audit reporting, report preparation and distributionPrepares daily deposits, credit card and cash reportsMaintains inventory and cost control proceduresMaintains strong internal controlsCompletes required A/R and A/P transactionsPerforms related duties and special projects as assignedPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experienceA minimum of two years of experience with revenue control and cash handling responsibilitiesAccounting experience in foodservice or retail industry required, foodservice operations experience a plusAbility to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analysesAdept at planning, organizing and controlling complex processes as well as analyzing moderately complex financial informationExperience with sales analysis and reportingExperience with POS, cash and credit card reports preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSkilled at managing multiple priorities and relationshipsComputer skills:proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in ExcelStrong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentConformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behaviorApply to Chartwells Higher Education today!Chartwells Higher Education is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
