Prior teaching experience at the childhood grade levels is required. Candidates for adjunct positions should have a record of high-quality teaching. The adjunct instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering content to students that is appropriate with course goals and key assessments.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:Hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Literacy Education or a related field.Have at least 3 years teaching experience at the childhood grade levels.Have experience teaching and/or mentoring diverse students.Additional Information:The successful candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.The State University of New York at Old Westbury is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
