PACE Supply, a leading employee-owned wholesale distributor of plumbing, finish, HVAC, and related products since 1994, is seeking a motivated Finish Plumbing Estimator to join our high-performing Finish Division team in Stockton CA. In this key role, you will play a vital part in delivering accurate, timely, and competitive bids for finish plumbing system installations in the final stages of building construction. Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and customer bid requests to prepare accurate plumbing estimates
• Enter and manage quotes in PACE Supply's operating system
• Maintain job folders, Smartsheets quote logs, and related documentation
• Solicit quotes from vendors/representatives, secure price protections, and verify accuracy
• Communicate proactively with customers (e.g., confirm bid requests, clarify details, address "no bid" items, and deliver bids at least 48 hours before due dates)
• Coordinate with Account Managers, Project Managers, and adjacent divisions for pricing and updates
• Ensure seamless internal/external communication with a strong focus on detail and timeliness

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

• High school diploma or equivalent credential required.
• 2+ years of experience in plumbing inside sales, estimating, or a related role (finish plumbing experience preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage complex projects
• Proactive mindset: thrive with minimal guidance, handle uncertainty, and take initiative
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, computer-based environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with plumbing/finish products or quoting processes
• Experience with ATS, CRM, or estimating software

• Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
