Customer Relations Project Manager
Hybrid role based out of our Lockport office.
Job Purpose:
Our Customer Relations Project Manager will be responsible for playing a key part in driving business performance both at the local site level and with national accounts. This role leads specific projects from their inception through completion.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end order management: Manage the complete order flow from receipt through to customer delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction. Support sales & customer communication: Serve as a key liaison between Sales Representatives and customers, providing regular updates and resolving issues quickly. Manage quoting & profitability: Lead quoting activities, savings initiatives, and identify opportunities to improve account profitability through cost and margin optimization. Coordinate supply chain & lead times: Work with vendors and customers to manage lead times, expedite orders, and maintain an efficient, cost-effective supply chain. Prevent & manage backorders: Monitor inventory and usage trends to prevent stockouts, expedite orders, and manage backorders or cancellations appropriately. Ensure data & invoicing accuracy: Oversee the setup of customer, item, and vendor master data; ensure timely and accurate invoicing. Lead quality & testing programs: Address product or service issues, manage corrective actions, and coordinate sampling/testing programs. Implement national programs locally: Execute corporate and national initiatives at the local level, ensuring alignment and effectiveness.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills including customer interface. Ability to quickly absorb new knowledge and utilize new software. Salary: $53,100 - $72,800 annually.
Work Experience:
3-5 years of related job experience. Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required. Knowledge of major ERP (enterprise resource planning) software applications such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
