Title: Senior Manager Global Lending Operations & Service Delivery

Office Status: Hybrid New York, NY

Base Salary: $180k $200k + Discretionary Bonus

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a senior leadership opportunity within the Treasury Operations function of a global financial institution, offering full management ownership of a multi-person team responsible for corporate lending operations, loan settlement processing, and limits management across several international branch locations. The role combines hands-on operational leadership with genuine cross-functional influence partnering closely with Product, Treasury, and Relationship Management teams to ensure seamless service delivery for institutional banking clients. It's an ideal fit for an operations leader with strong people management instincts who can build a high-performing, risk-aware team culture while driving operational excellence across a multi-region lending operations function.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and lead a high-performing corporate lending operations team focused on market-leading service delivery for internal and external institutional banking customers across multiple international branch locations
  • Manage deal origination, loan processing, and settlement activity within internal lending and credit systems across a multi-branch operating footprint
  • Resolve lending operational issues across multiple jurisdictions;partner with Product, Treasury, and Relationship Managers to ensure customer deliverables are consistently met
  • Foster a risk-aware, transparent team culture while actively contributing to daily servicing requirements and identifying opportunities to improve service levels and operational efficiency
  • Create a collaborative working culture that enables effective partnership across the broader operations and delivery organization
  • Plan and manage team resourcing effectively to cover planned and unplanned absences;ensure consistent service coverage at all times
  • Ensure customer complaints are logged and resolved promptly;ensure incidents and issues are raised and remediated to closure within required timeframes
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones with direct reports;implement development plans and succession planning for the team
  • Maintain a strong risk culture with a focus on strengthening the control environment;ensure satisfactory outcomes on audit reviews and ongoing compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements
  • Lead by example to support the development of a strong, compliant, and high-performing business culture
