Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

We are seeking talented Software Engineers with strong engineering fundamentals who are eager to expand their expertise into the Salesforce ecosystem.

In this role, you will:
- Leverage your solid technical foundation while developing specialized skills in Salesforce development, configuration, and integration to support our strategic digital initiatives.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that enhance our customer experience and streamline business processes.

You'll contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact how we serve our Personal Insurance customers while building valuable expertise in one of the industry's leading CRM platforms.

What Will You Do?

  • Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions that support Personal Insurance digital transformation initiatives
  • Write clean, maintainable code following Salesforce best practices and development standards
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions that enhance customer experience
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure robust solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the Salesforce platform
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and emerging technologies to continuously improve technical skills

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • 4+ years of hands-on software development experience building and maintaining enterprise applications
  • Salesforce development experience (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce APIs) is a strong plus but not required
  • Proven experience writing production-quality code in object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
  • Track record of designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating systems through web services
  • Demonstrated ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate within cross-functional teams
  • Background in full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance
  • Experience with version control systems and modern development tools and practices
  • History of successfully learning and adapting to new technologies and platforms

What is a Must Have?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience.
  • 4 additional years of software engineering experience.
