Job Summary
Duroshox is seeking a seasoned and experienced Director / Sr. Director of Manufacturing Excellence / Engineering to lead and optimize its manufacturing operations in the U.S.A. The ideal candidate will bring over 20 years of experience in manufacturing excellence, preferably with extensive experience in Toyota Production Systems (TPS) and would have worked with Toyota or a Toyota supplier, and demonstrate expertise in lean manufacturing, strategic planning, and cross-functional team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee all manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles across all production lines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational excellence. Implement low-cost automations as and when needed.
• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Manage cross-functional teams including production, quality, supply chain, and engineering.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 15-20 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably with Toyota or a Toyota supplier.
• Proven track record in implementing lean manufacturing and manufacturing excellence programs.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing large teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and quality systems.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
